Spring awakening

To experience the spring in the South Tyrolean Dolomites is something very special! In the beginning of spring the choice is all yours! Go up on the mountain skiing or rather down the valley to experience the awakening of the alpine landscape. Walking through the forest scenery of the Alpe di Siusi holds incredible natural spectacles! If you wish to explore even more, then we advise you to ride a bike. The Nordic walking trail to San Osvaldo or San Costantino leads right past the farm Örtlhof.

A summer holiday on our farm Örtlhof is great not only for relaxation! Sport enthusiasts will find everything their hearts desire. There are some great ways to explore the alpine landscape around the farm Örtlhof.

The hiking paradise Alpe di Siusi is crisscrossed by a dense network of trails that will easily meet all requirements.

Many other great outdoor sports are available at the Alpe di Siusi!

Climbers can enjoy fantastic vie ferrate! For example, the via ferrata “Oskar Schuster” at Sassopiatto.

Mountain bikers and cyclists will find everything – from challenging trails to leisurely valley routes.

On horseback across the country – a riding stable is located right next to the farm Örtlhof.

Swimming – bathing fun in the Schlern area at the Völser Weiher pond or in the Telfen outdoor swimming pool

Of all the seasons autumn is the most colourful.

Experience South Tyrol’s very own Indian Summer! When the mountains around our farm Örtlhof get ready for winter, for us a time of great pleasures starts! Hiking, fine food and relaxed get together! For us South Tyrolean farmers the autumn brings many important events. The annual cattle drive is a happy festivity we like to celebrate together with our guests. Also the tradition of Törggelen! To celebrate the harvest, typical South Tyrolean specialties are served – a treat not only for gourmets! Taverns, chalets and restaurants in autumn more than ever are the perfect places to enjoy the vibrant cuisine of the country. Hikers and bikers may experience an alpine landscape backdrop, as colourful as it can be!
