Seiser Alm cable way

Your winter holiday at the farmhouse inn Örtlhof in Siusi allo Sciliar could start this way: in just 3 minutes you reach by car the Seiser Alm-cable way, the door to the Ski-resort Seiser Alm / Gröden – Alpe di Siusi /Val Gardena. Thanks to the comfortable cable car you will be able to arrive on the Seiser Alm, where your ski fun can start.

Sella Ronda and Dolomiti Superski

By the way, the ski-resort Seiser Alm / Gröden is a part of the Dolomiti Superski bigger one with its wonderful Sella Ronda. The Sella Ronda is a ski-tour around the Sella-massif in our stunning Dolomites. On the 26 km long slopes 4 passes will lead you over to the four Ladin valleys, connected this way to each other: Gröden, Alta Badia, Arabba and Fassa.

You can start your ski-day on the Sella Ronda directly from Örtlhof.
After you reached the Seiser Alm by cable car, take the ski bus from Saltria to Monte Pana, strap on your skis and head out directly onto the Sella Ronda. You can ski on the Sella Ronda both counterclockwise as clockwise and is an absolute must for every skier in the holiday region of the Seiser Alm.

 

Do you already know the King Laurin Park Seiser Alm?

The King Laurin Park is the largest snow park in South Tyrol and it was awarded as the best one in Italy the past years. With its round 70 obstacles as kickers, rails, whoops und boxes on 1,5 kilometres the snow park is one of the largest in Europe. It has been a few years that large contests are performed here. During the past two years even the FIS Slopestyle World Cup has been held there.

 

The paradise for cross-country ski

Do you love cross-country skiing during the winter? Then you must absolutely come to see the Seiser Alm, that is the epitome of cross-country ski in South Tyrol. Circa 80 km perfect groomed cross-country courses for every level are waiting for you. It does not matter if you prefer the classic or the skating technique, with this mountain landscape in the Dolomites skiing is always a pleasure and can be a beautiful experience.

Training spot for national teams

Some national cross-country ski teams as -for example- Norway, Sweden, USA and Italy chose the ideal condition of our trails on 1.800-2.000 meters on sea level for their training camps. Every training session become easier to manage with this stunning view on the Schlern, on the Langkofel and Plattkofel / Sasso lungo e Sasso piatto.

Moonlight Classic on the Seiser Alm

You can challenge yourself during the night cross-country ski race together with other hobby- and professional cross-country skiers from near and far. The race is held every year in the moonlight and you can take part of it on a distance of 30km or 15km, as you prefer.

At the valley od at the mountain station of the cable way there are many possibilities to rent the right ski-, snowboard- or cross-country ski equipment you need for your winter holidays. Take your winter clothes off and put on your bathrobe to go and have a sauna in Seis at the Örtlhof. Warm yourself up and relax your muscles and bones in our Finnish sauna outside. Between having a sauna and the next one you can cool down letting yourself fall in the fresh snow or just sitting in a relaxing sitting corner.
