The Seiser Alm – beautiful in summer and winter

With an area of ​​57 km² the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi is the largest mountain plateau in Europe, located between 1700 and 2400 meters above sea level. The idyllic villages Siusi and Castelrotto are probably the two most famous villages close to the Alpe di Siusi. On the western part of the plateau, the Nature Park Sciliar-Catinaccio – established in 1975 – with its pristine flora and fauna attracts many nature lovers.

World natural heritage

The Dolomites since long count among the UNESCO World Natural Heritages. The Seiser Alm was one of the reasons for this prestigious award. It is considered one of the most striking alpine scenery of South Tyrol and offers many natural wonders and attractions.
